The sugarcane bagasse-fired Ferrari TPP is located in Pirassununga (SP). The plant was integrated into ENGIE’s generator complex in 2014, initially operating with four generator units totaling 65.5 MW. In 2015, ENGIE increased the plant’s capacity to 80.5 MW, through the installation of a fifth generator unit of 15 MW. Ferrari TPP operates with a physical guarantee of 35.6 average MW. The authorization for operating the thermoelectric plant expires in 2042.
