The Ibitiúva Thermoelectric Power Plant is fired from sugarcane bagasse and is located in Pitangueiras (SP). It began operations in 2010 with authorization granted to the Andrade Consortium expiring 2030, ENGIE having a 69.24% share in the consortium.

The plant has a generator unit with an installed capacity of 33 MW, of which 22.85 MW pertains to ENGIE. ENGIE’s physical guarantee for commercialization is 13.9 average MW.
