The Tubarão Wind Plant, located in the municipality of the same name in the state of Santa Catarina, was projected and implemented within the context of the ENGIE Brasil Research and Development Program (R&D).

The plant went into operation in 2015, having a concrete 120 meter high tower and a rotor blade of 110 meters in diameter. The installed capacity is 2.1 MW, developed by a single generator unit.
